Results from the PROUD study, showing a daily pill can effectively protect people from HIV infection, were published on September 9th in The Lancet. The results show the approach could play a major role in reducing the number of new infections among men who have sex with men.
A video documentary, directed by Nicholas Feustel and funded by the MRC, on the PROUD Study, a two year study that showed how a daily pill could offer excellent protection against HIV in the real world.
This is the full length documentary. An extra video, Voices Of The Participants, will be available online and at screenings throughout the UK from July 2015.
